False Default on my credit file

Hi,

I need to do the same please. I supposedly had an £18 debt owing when closing my account in 2018 because the direct debit stopped. I paid the outstanding £18 directly but got a default on my file. Its 5 years later and it's just stopped me getting a mortgage!!!

Please can someone from BT help put me in touch as equifax will NOT remove it unless BT instruct them to.
