Hi my direct debit isn't due for 7 days yet but my services have today been suspended is this a common occurrence with bt?

Hi, @taylormade welcome to the community and thanks for posting. You normally wouldn't be restricted if a direct debit is set up to pay the bill however, this can happen if there's an outstanding balance from a previous bill still owed.
I'd recommend getting in touch with our billing team on this link to find out whats happened.
