I'm wanting to order the superfast 500Mb deal but it's telling me here superfast fibre can't even do 100Mb, but the deal is full fibre whereas this only says fibre.
Is there a difference between fibre and full fibre meaning I will be more than fine with the superfast deal? or should I choose the ultrafast deal instead?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Unless you have a lot of users in your house, all requiring a fast connection, then Superfast Fibre Broadband will be more than adequate.
That does not require any extra installation, as its fibre to the cabinet, and then copper to your home. It terminates on your existing phone socket, is self install, and does not take very long to provide.
I see, so does this mean the 500Mb deal is full fibre? or should I choose the 300Mb deal if I'm wanting full fibre?
Both 300 and 500 are full fibre, and would need installing.
Bear in mind, unless you have devices directly wired to the BT Smart Hub 2, you are unlikely to get the full speed.
A single wireless connected device is going to get a much slower speed, but its useful if you have multiple wireless devices all downloading at the same time and sharing the fibre speed.
Awesome thanks for the help!
