OK, so moving to Virgin did require cancellation with BT as they are different infrastructure. Were you out of contract? If not then early termination fees will apply.

You state that your first contact was 1st May. If that's the case & you gave the required 30 day notice, you service will continue until the end of May. After this a final bill should be produced & it may then be possible to post the number.
