My contract has ended and I've signed up with another provider but I can't cancel by BT package, Have tried phone the 0800 feeds to 0330, which I've just spent 30 minutes on before being cut off, then chat but there was none just more questions no answrs. Does anyone have solution or postal address for customer servives.
Why are you cancelling BT. If you have used the correct procedure, your new provider should cancel BT for you.

Same here . I've lodged a complaint with BT HQ by post.
Simple anwser is there are loads of better deals out there.
You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave
Did you follow the simple procedure by just placing order with whichever ISP you decide and they inform BT that they are taking over your line and in effect cancelling your BT contract

not really interested why you want to leave but not following the OFCOM procedure may cause you problems
I was not interested in your reason why you wanted to cancel, more for why you were doing it and not the new provider you were moving to doing it for you.
As stated , if you are not moving address just changing provider , even if it’s onto a different network operator ( Openreach to Netomnia for example ) , as well as Openreach to Openreach migrations , the new provider serves notice to the old provider , not you the consumer, so basically you need to ask your new provider if they are using OTS , One Touch Switching to mange switching your service to them , if they are , you don’t need to contact BT yourself, the new provider does it for you
I've just done this, as my new provider didn't offer the one-time switch service.
I rang 0800 783 1401. It announced a 20 minute wait but I got through after about 10 minutes, and a professional and friendly guide cancelled my service.
Good luck - I hope you manage to do this.
