Upgrading - Billed Twice?

Hi,

 

So I’ve been paying out of contract for a while now and just decided to renew for another 24 months.

 

I last payed my bill on the 26th July 

 

BT say my new services will be activated on the 7th August

 

So my question is will I be billed on the 7th August?

 

Its the same package as before if it matters.

Hi @Mistados,

Thank you for posting. You'll still receive the BT Bill as normal on the same billing date as you do at the moment. The only thing you'll find is on the first bill after the change, will included broken period rental.

This means that you would be charge at the old rate up until the 6th of August and the new rate from the 7th.  On your next bill you'll be refunded what you paid in advance for your old service on the same bill that shows the advance charges for your new service.
