My BT account number is wrong how do i change it.

Welcome to this customer to customer help forum for BT Residential phone and broadband customers.

The only BT employees on this forum are the moderators, who no longer have account access.

The only way you are going to be able to resolve this, is by ringing BT.

It would be unusual, as the account number is unique to each customer and cannot be changed.

I don't understand how the account number is wrong it simply is your account number.  If you are meaning when you are logging into your online account you see old account information then that is all tied to the email address you are using and you may either need to create a new online account with a different email address for your current account or BT can delete the account from the email address to sort it out.

Other than that unsure how it is incorrect
