Hi, To cut a long story short , i'm due to 3 months compensation which is going to be credited to my account, I know about the 30 day wait, but the question is do i cancel my direct debit bank payments ? until i'm no longer in credit ! or will BT sort that out !!
Thanks

Re: compensation
This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers.
The only BT Employees are the forum moderators.
Its best not to cancel your direct debit, as that is likely to cause other issues.
If you are in credit, then you should not receive any requests for payment.

Hi @petek1959 welcome to the community and thanks for posting. There is no need to cancel your direct debit, if you pay your whole bill Monthly by direct debit our billing system will recognise if there is a credit on the account and that will be used to pay the bill. When you're no longer in credit the direct debit will recommence.
Thanks
Neil
