refer a friend

hi.

i have registered for 'refer a friend' and have my link . heres the bit i don't understand!

when i send the link (via email), it arrives at my friends email, but nothing i click etc sends my friend to the registration page - sos frustrating going backwards and forwards and my friend not being able to regiter.

please can someone send me in the right direction?

Hi @samkhui2020, welcome to the forum and thanks for posting.

The offer does advise that your friend should follow the link you've sent and choose one of the broadband packages. 
If they aren't getting the link to open on the broadband offers is it possible for them to try on another device. 
Also ask them to clear their cookies and cache as that could be the cause.

thank you for replying so swiftly!

i think my  issue is i dont understand how to forward the link, as it just keeps saying 'you cannot refer yourself' - i dont seem to be able to send a valid link, which they can click that leads to a registration page?

however i will not try a diffrent browser and clear cookies as well.

Hi @samkhui2020, thanks for posting back. Are you trying to send the link to the email address you've registered as your email address on the Refer Friend offer?

i have replied with a pic of the refer a friend message, i just dont understand how to move this message to my friend.

the 'refer link' doesnt work when i send this to my friend - anyway you could advise?

I've tested with another email address, as I was previously registered, and the link I've got works ok. The link you've got doesn't work. Try again if you've another email address and it should work ok.

Remove the " at the end of the link you posted, and it does direct to a web page.
