refund of broadband deposit

Hi I had to pay a 100.00 deposit when I moved house to have my bt broadband re installed there in October last year, I have paid every month on time since then but still haven't received my deposit back, it is now 7 months since I really do need the deposit back, can you tell me when I will get it and why I haven't received it yet please.

This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers.

The only BT Employees are the forum moderators.

Try calling 0330 1234 150

Are you sure that that the deposit money has not been shown as a credit to each of your monthly bills since October last year? Check your old BT bills, as that is normally the way BT refund any advance payment.

hi no it hasn't I've already checked that bt said I would get it back via the original payment method.
