BT Cloud download problems

Hi

ive spent the last two days trying to download my files from BT cloud.

im still no further along

ive downloaded the latest desktop app

followed all the advice:

constant error messages

trying to download to a portable hard drive as not enough room on my computer:

you have attempted to add a folder that is used as a sync folder D

Befpre continuing this action you must remove the existing sync D folder

if I try and use a folder on my laptop another error message pops up.. cannot use this folder…

its knackered my portable hard drive which now says it has errors and needs fixing but nothing happens when I select repair

I went and bought another 1 tb hard drive yesterday and can’t get that to save anything either

 I’m losing my mind

then one folder I have on the bt cloud is completely empty nothing there when it should have all the back ups and files and photos of my old laptop

Ive removed and downloaded the BT desktop app dozens of times

tried doing it on a different lap top And the same errors

Please can anybody help?  Deadline in a few days

i had no idea it would be this difficult

Hi @Linds4

Welcome to the community, we'll try and help you get this sorted.

Have you tried downloading directly through your internet browser on the BT Cloud website?

when I go to my.bt.com it says

you have registered for BT Cloud on another account. Please switch accounts to access your cloud.
