Hi. I've had a 6-month long standing complaint open with BT because of the Windows BT Cloud app not working.
They closed it, without consulting me, to say there's a new version of the app that's fixed the problem.
Well, I downloaded and installed the latest version and instantly got the same problem as before!
But apparently the "latest version" available to download (21.12.15) isn't the "latest version" they told me about (21.2.8)
So, how the hell do you get 21.2.8?
It doesn't auto-update (possibly because 21.12.15 is broken) and you can't download it. What the hell are we supposed to do to get it?

21.12.15 is the latest version.
So why did BT close my complaint telling me to upgrade to 21.2.8?
The Release Note for 21.2.8 is dated 19th March 2021.
Since then there have been at least three more versions (dates approximate) :
21.4.10 7/21
21.8.9 11/21
21.12.15 4/22
Even if you were able to obtain a copy of 21.2.8 it would soon be silently updated to the latest version.
There seem to have been few complaints about BT Cloud for some months now. Not a word of apology from BT management about the 6 months of chaos in 2020/21 though.
This makes me even more certain BT hasn't got a clue what's going on with BT Cloud.
They literally wrote to me on Tuesday telling me the latest version is out, and it is 21.2.8, and this will fix my ongoing problems.
OK, so I'm on the latest version, and it still hasn't fixed my ongoing problems.
(Shakes head in despair.)
