@NeilO Thank you very much, I have changed it and everything is working now. It is a shame BT did not send out an email telling us that the original ID would no longer work or even to flag it up when logging on to "My BT"
Hi, @Bob1001 no problem, I'm glad I was able to help. The recommendation to change the BT ID to an email was around 10 years ago and if I remember correctly there were pop up prompts after logging into MyBT at the time.

Still had problems using email address, so used my BT account detail which worked - login to myBT.com and its shown top left in the format GBxxxxxxx in my case. Happy wifi!
