Hopefully someone here can help with this. Trying to login to a BT Wifi hotspot, I can connect fine by selecting the BT Broadbamd existing customer type and using my BT ID and password.
If I download the BT Wifi app and use the same credentials it doesn’t work saying incorrect username and password.
any ideas??

Hi, @tjbeaumont That's why it was moved away from your thread, the other community member posted about their BT sport app issues here so I moved it to the correct board in the community and left a temporary placeholder to show them it was moved.

Yes, still have the same issue with the app which I cannot seem to resolve. To summarise the issue:
1. If I join a BT wifi hotspot and navigate to the hotspot login page, select BT Broadband and enter my BT ID and password, it works and connects fine.
2. When I download the BT Wifi app and use the same BT ID and password credentials in the app, it tells me the credentials are incorrect. I've tried removing the app (including the security profile), reinstalled the app, but get the same problem every time.

Thank you for posting back. Please could you try resetting your BT ID password and once that's done try logging into the app with the new password to see if that make any difference?
