Can’t disable web protection

Hi 

I can’t disable my web protect in bt app when I press switch off it just says your web protect will be turned on within 2 hours and won’t switch on or off I’ve phoned bt 6 times with no result getting really frustrating because through data on my device I can view 18+ plus sites 

as soon as I turn Wi-Fi back on can’t access them can someone please help me please

Have you tried going to MYBT and disabling web protect there

I have been trying it for last 4 weeks all it says when ai press switch off a green bar at top of page says it will turn on I next 2 hours it won't turn off or on

Tried factory reset on hub deleted app and reinstalled it tried website instead of app bt even sent me a new hub still can't turn it off

Are you using a web browser to access MYBT not an app?  If not then try with web browser

Yes tried the web browser get the exact same when I try and turn it off it just won't do it very frustrating

Has anyone had the same problem and got this resolved because it's driving me mad

There is nobody on this forum, moderators included, who have access to accounts so they can not help you. You will need to contact BT again and explain the problem and if they can not resolve it you will need to lodge a complaint.

Just being a little pedantic here, but what do you believe Web-Protect does, and why are you feeling the need to combine this with turning the WiFi on and off?

*Web protect is turned on here - just a little safeguarding!
