Gamepass?

I'm coming to the end of my free year with Gamepass and being as I only have one game through it that I can purchase separately for £20 I don't intend to continue with it. Can anyone tell how that works please, like is there any positive actions I need to take?

Thanks.

Re: Gamepass?

Hey there, @Thompson218.

You should be able to see Game Pass as an add-on on your account online, or via the My BT app, and cancel it here.

If you don't cancel this, often it will auto-renew until requested, so it's definitely worth doing if you're not using it.

Alternatively, if  you give our team a call, they'll be able to cancel this at our end, too.

Re: Gamepass?

Thank you Peter  I've checked on the MyBT App and there's an Auto Renew slider that is set to off, so hopefully all OK.

Is it on trust that I uninstall the game I've downloaded or will it suddenly cease to run?

Thanks again for your reply.

Re: Gamepass?

Sounds good @Thompson218

If the installed game needs was working through Game Pass, it will stop working when your current month ends. It will then prompt you to purchase it if you wanted to.

Re: Gamepass?

Thank you, it was certainly downloaded via Gamepass, though can't recall exactly how, it was a year ago nearly! However it runs through a shortcut on my Windows 11 laptop. What's that mean exactly? I have no intention of not purchasing a licence but would like to do everything as cleanly as possible.

Re: Gamepass?

I'm not sure exactly how that will work with the shortcut @Thompson218

But the access will stop when the pass does.
