McAfee to Norton

Like many I have been unable to install the new Norton security- even using online chat twice!  My problem is, as the Norton download uninstalled my McAfee, I now have no security on my computer.  Online chat told me I could reinstall from My BT but I can only download Norton from there - which won’t install.  Have just received a text saying problem should be resolved tomorrow and they would ring on 30th.  I am a pensioner and not very upto date with computers and am worried at not having any security. Any help gratefully received thank you.

If you are using a Microsoft Windows operating system on your computer Microsoft's own pre installed antivirus program will have automatically started when it detected that McAfee had been removed so you will be covered until such times as you install another antivirus program.
