MyBT Parental Controls not restricting access

Hello, 

It appears that Parental controls configured via Security in MyBT isnt working as expected. Sites and contents that I have blocked via the configuration options do not have any effect. It was all good until about a week ago. Please help as I no longer able to restrict sites my children can access.

Hi @logunbay, welcome to the community and sorry the Parental Controls are not working for you. 
The controls were working ok last week so has anything changed? ie have you changed your package?

Hello John,

Thanks for responding.

I'm not aware of any changes over the last week. The router and everything else haven't changed.

I followed the link you sent regarding DNS and I saw two values - the default IP 192.168.1.254 and another fe80::64fe::3bff::fe8a.

Is it supposed to be there?

Are you using a Mac device?
The 192. address is correct. I'm not sure about the other value.

Hi @logunbay, would you remove the fe80 address and then check to see if the controls work ok after that?

Why are you responding in this way when others have posted here, over a period of weeks, to say that BT have acknowledged that there is a fault with their systems? You appear to just be wasting people's time.

Apologies for the delayed response - I was away from home.

I'm unable to remove the fe80 address - it only allows me to edit the 192 address.
