Norton security

Senior citizen writing, don’t understand IOS, Android 6 so need some help on transfer to Norton. We can’t load Norton and we’re going round in circles for hours on end. So I’ve come to a fairly simple conclusion. You can’t load the Norton software unless you’re using Windows or AppleMac. We have iPads and iPhones only and no added software. Am I correct?

You can not add Norton to iPads and iPhones

sorry another quick one from a senile delinquent! Can I load it via a device that has the software, eg a relatives computer and then add the security to our Apple devices?
