Parental control

Hi,

I got the installation on Saturday however since then I am unable to activate the parental control despite of chat with colleagues...Why it is advertised if it does not work?

Are you using your own router or a BT hub?

What was tried when you contacted BT Customer Service?

See link about setting them up and in particular the part about if they have not activated to carry out a reboot of your BT hub if you have not already tried that.

Hi,

Well, thank you for your help. However I could not asked for help If I managed to do that by myself. I went through all the steps but it just constantly says it will activate within 2 hours but never does. The customer service its the same cliche, i will raise the complaint etc but nothing changes. Also your youtube guide its a bit behind because now you have completely different website and how it looks like when you log in. I have got a fibre by the way.

This is a BT residential customer to customer forum and as such it is not my Youtube guide, it is BT's so take your comments up about it with BT. 

As you did not state what had been tried in your post and as I am not a mind reader I had no idea what you had tried and not tried or what the BT Customer Service had tried and said when you contacted them so it seemed obvious to post what I did. 

I will now not bother wasting any more of my or your time with "cliches" and leave you to it.
