Parental controls

Can someone give me easy instructions to set up parental controls on my fibre broadband, the help file says log onto my bt and scroll down manage extras button, there is no extras button for me.

Hi @Robko68 Thanks for your post, from the homepage you need to scroll down and click on the manage tile under the Your security section and from there you can activate the parental controls.

No its not there it just shows help info, the video shows tiles on my BT Web page but when I go to my BT there are no tiles!

@Robko68 I'm sorry that didn't work for you, I tested it on my own MyBT account before posting and got to it on the Your security tab.

Try this method instead click manage on Your products then manage on the Broadband scroll down to the Parental controls section and click switch on. I'd also recommend the MyBT app for your phone as you can Manage your services on it quite easily.

Doesn't work, I am a new customer it seems my homepage isn't showing my products properly see the screenshots below, all I get is help files when I select manage.

@Robko68 oh I see, are you using a BT ID you previously used with an old account?

If you tap Your details scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Update my account details you can add your new account number.

Ok now we are getting somewhere, I have added the new account ok, is there a way the old account can be removed as it defaults to this on the homepage and doesn't seem to allow me to manage the new account

@Robko68 You should be able to switch between the accounts at the top of the page. I can help with getting the old account removed to keep things right and will send you a private message in a moment so you can get in touch.
