I've chased this up today and have been advised it is a known issue, no fix date has been provided but I've asked to be kept in the loop and will update the thread when I know more.
@licquorice do you want to opt back into the BT Wifi facility as I have been advised there is a workaround that we can apply from our side?
Also if there are any other customers who are not able to opt back into BT wifi and would like to do so post here and let us know.
Hi @NeilO , thanks for the offer. I didn't actually want to change anything I was just testing the method which revealed the problem.
Would it be possible for you to help me opt back in to use BT Wi-Fi please using the workaround that is available?

Hi @carwynf1 it really depends on how busy the back office team are that we have to raise this with but I would expect they will pick it up within the next 24 to 48 hours.
It looks like I have been opted back in, thank you! I have checked my Smart Hub 2 it shows that the Public Wi-Fi status is not active even though I have opted in, is there a way to push this to activate it?
If you can access BTWifi, ignore what the hub says.
