I have the same problem with signing into the bt app . Closed the existing account which was in my wife surname and was given a new account number. Now when I try to create a new BT app account the message says that email already exists, and I can't go any further.

Hi @pirate100, sorry you can't access your account on the app. I've moved your post to create your own thread as the previous thread is already resolved.
Are you trying to use the same email address that was used for your wife's account?

Yes John I'm trying to use the same email (as this account), All that was done wife's acc closed and i was given a new account number, but conflict signing in with the email

Hi @pirate100, have you tried using a web browser and see if it works ok there?
Or if you have another email address set up the BTID with the new account number on that?

Yes I have just got access to MyBT trough the web browser, and it opened with the new account number so I can access it from there.
Many thanks for your help, sorry I didn't think of trying to sign in trough the web .🙄
