Hello out there,
I have received an EE Smart Hub PLUS with my new EE contract. At present I have BT Smart Hub 2 a BT Smart HUB min with four White BT Whole 2.4/5Ghz Discs. If I replace the BT Smart hub with the EE device will I be good to go or is it not compatible with my existing kit pls?
Thanks in advance. Best garno

Re: EE TV SMART HUB PLUS
@garno You may have to return any BT equipment you have depending on when you started your contract with BT that's what happens with TV boxes it may be the same with broadband equipment, as you have now joined EE.
As for compatibility I'm sure someone on here can advise..

Re: EE TV SMART HUB PLUS
BT Whole Home discs are a standalone product that are supposed to work with any router, so you should be able to use them with your EE Smart Hub Plus: https://www.bt.com/help/user-guides/bt-whole-home-wi-fi/bt-whole-home-wi-fi-faqs---compatibility
BT/EE no longer sell Whole Home discs as far as I am aware, preferring to sell an add on subscription instead such as “Complete WiFi”, “Smart WiFi” or third party mesh systems.
Here is the EE version that is designed to work with the Smart Hub Plus specifically, which is £10 per month: https://ee.co.uk/broadband/smart-wifi

Re: EE TV SMART HUB PLUS
Excellent thx. I’ll upgrade when I feel the need for the speed of WiFi 6. 👍
