Re: Humax DTR-T1000 !HELP!

@redbridgefc

Indeed. What’s the price of each, to see the premium for the T4000, which is better?

Re: Humax DTR-T1000 !HELP!

Definitely don't go with the DTR-T2xxx - they're painfully slow by current standards.

Re: Humax DTR-T1000 !HELP!

@decembersangel

"If you have a look on the Humax forums you'll see that there are not a lot of positive things are said about any of their products"

In my experience, people are much more likely to post on forums when they have problems, rather than to say that their equipment or service is working OK.

For balance:

As mentioned by @gomezz in post #2, I can also recommend the Humax HDR-Fox T2. I bought ours in 2012, (when Comet were closing down) - it is still in daily use. A bit slow by modern standards I agree, and none of the apps work any more, but as a PVR I can't fault it.

@Midnight_Voice

The missing post contained an prohibited link. So presumably deleted rather than just removing the link. Whether it's been permanently deleted is anyone's guess.

The other one, a harrowing tale of a father with dementia losing all his sports recordings, has reappeared…
