Re: IPC6011 Recording Now TV sports

That's garbage. I recorded the F1 (in HD) this last weekend. And many other weekends before that.

Re: IPC6011 Recording Now TV sports

Hi @karenlee I'm sorry you're getting an error when trying to record the F1 channel on your BT TV box, and that you have been given incorrect information when you contacted the helpdesk. The IPC6011 error is something that will need to be looked into further from our side to understand the problem. I'll send you a private message so you can get in touch with the moderation team.

Thanks

Neil

Re: IPC6011 Recording Now TV sports

Hi

I was just wondering whether this issue was resolved?

I have a Bt box DTRT2100 with no EETV subscription and currently a separate NOW Sports subscription.

NOW Sport channels are on the TV guide but before I purchase NOW through EE would like to be sure I will be able to record the NOW Sports channels.

Can anyone confirm whether this is the case or not?

Thanks

@jscho

No, you can only use the Now app.

Thanks

If I purchased a new Pro box would that enable me to record?

Re: IPC6011 Recording Now TV sports

@jscho

You need an EETV subscription that includes Sports before you can record any Sports channels.

The subscription requires you to be using BT or EE broadband.

You will be able, in principle, to use your existing YouView box to record on, or you can elect to have a Pro box lent to you as part of your subscription, and use that.

You can switch between the two boxes at will, but only one at a time can record the subscription Now and TNT channels, or play them back. The other one will operate as your YouView box does now, i.e. you can record the broadcast channels whenever you want, but not the Subscription ones.

I am vague about using your YouView box to record Now channels if, instead of the Pro box, you elect to have the EE-supplied Apple TV Box; maybe with that, which doesn’t record, you can’t use anything alongside it that does record the Now channels? But I’m sure someone will know what the rules are.
