Re: Pro Box and Mini - A Mini Issue

Go to solution

The same fella who called earlier in the day called back again later last night and asked me to try Ethernet because it couldn't go to Offline until that had been checked too. (Same result, no channels still) and he was profusely apologetic for calling again and asking but had to tick a box and also take a 'live' shot of the data coming back during the attempt.

Are you able to see the progress of this now its no longer in the hands of TMC @DarrenDev (Sorry for asking like, but Monday will be two weeks and nothing)

(Next callback is Tuesday)

The fault is still owned by TMC, but it is now with a team for further investigation whom I can monitor the tickets for. It was picked up this morning by Caroline, who picks up all the IPC6023 faults I raise via my process - she's never let me down.

Thank you very much @DarrenDev

I’m hopeful this is resolved in the next day or two.

Im guessing the missing entries in the IPv6 WAN 'Global Unicast Address' and 'Global Unicast prefix/length' are part of the problem? Unicast Router Info - Redacted.png

Openreach needed to rebuild the profile on your line. We received notification that they'd completed the work at 12:22. Glad it'd sorted for you now.

What would cause that in the first place, out of curiosity?
and thank you to all that worked to fix this, it’s so appreciated!

Unfortunately I have very limited knowledge of the Openreach side of things, and I wouldn't want to steal any more precious time from the busy engineers fixing these faults.
All I see is a number of acronyms of all the various systems and devices that needed to be checked - a stark reminder of how complicated it is delivering multicast video to the TV Box efficiently over the internet.
