Retune

I have to retune my box every time I turn it on can I avoid doing this?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the BT Community!

I am sorry you have to keep having to retune your BT TV box.  You shouldn't have to keep doing that, daily.  Can you give me a little more info on what happens?  Is your full TV guide missing when you initially turn the box on?

Basically it asks to retune. We live in Devon but it only offers London or Berkshire as an option. In addition after doing this programmes we have recorded disappear and it says " cannot show recorded programme as channel has changed?

Hi @AdamGarrett, is your BT TV box using the IPTV to pick up the channels or are you using an aerial?
If you've no recordings currently it may be worth while doing a Factory Reset and keep a note of any future scheduled recordings as you would need to input these again after the reset: How do I reset my BT TV box? | BT Help
