Have recently moved to another TV package and have now been sent an envelope to return the TV recorder. I am not sure why I have to do this. Don't I need it to watch TV? All I've done is upgrade my package as I had lost lots of TV channels.

Thank you for posting. It sounds like the return kit has been sent out in error. As long as you haven't received any new equipment or canceled your service you won't need to return that to BT.
If you send me your details, I'll take a look to make that the return request is canceled.
