Got a comedy show from Sky Arts recorded and it crashes the box as soon as I start playing it.  BT need to sort this out, it's so annoying!

Good evening @speedtrip, welcome back to the Community!

I've checked in with our TV team and I'm afraid we don't have a timescale for getting a fix on this issue just yet.

There are a couple of different factors influencing this one, but we're continuing to work with the relevant teams to ensure this is sorted out.

I starting happening to me several weeks ago both with skip forward and fast forward. This happened with both recordings and if the programme had been paused. I received a replacement box but it it’s still happening with the new one. It seems likely that it is a software issue introduced with an upgrade. It’s very annoying.

I have hidden all the COM5 channels on my T4000 and record programmes from them using my old Digitalstream PVR instead.

@Docburl  - if you can confirm it was a COM5 Channel involved, then you share the issue with many on here  - try to avoid the Channel - mostly they are ' +1 + versions - eg Film 4, Quest etc .... so you can find a workround ...

It appears to be any channel and any recording.

Thats a new problem then - as its a replaced T4000, probably wont help to try a full Reset - altho you ould try that on the original Box ?
