Test broadband speed

I want the check my broadband speed and clicked on Help / Test your Broadband speed. This took me to the Troubleshooter page!! This facility used to work quite simply but no longer apparently. Has anyone any advice as to how to have Broadband speed tested?

Thanks imjolly. both actually work but I was hoping for the 'old' BT speed test which gives both speed to the hub and speed to the device: this seems to have gone, However, It is still available on my mobile phone. Can you explain why that is?

Ookla also gives speed to the device.

speed to the hub is the speed BT guarantee not speed to any device

The facility to which I refer and which I can bring up on my mobile but not on my laptop gives both download and upload speeds to my hub and to my device.

Many thanks for that information DarrenDev. I had found the speed test on my phone but wondered why I couldn't find it on my laptop! Now I know.

Thank you Pompey1898  that explains why I couldn't find it which is a great pity as I cannot test the speed to my laptop: testing the speed to my mobile works perfectly!
