I've been searching the house for one as I figured all it was looking for was a connection of some kind and I don't. We had SKY previously and the antenna cables from the disk have a threaded barrel on them so won't push into the connector on the back of the BT TV box (It's the Pro one by the way).
I don’t have a Pro Box to test, but according to YouView themselves you can use all of their boxes without an aerial, so forcing you to connect one just to setup seems daft.
Is there no on screen option to skip tuning aerial based channels?
There is no option just that one button and it won't go any further. I remember someone else on the forum telling me that you cannot complete setup without an antenna connected initially but once it's completed it doesn't care if you have an antenna if you just watch subscription channels.
Time to order the cheapest portable aerial you can find I’m afraid, unless a friendly neighbour can help?
Does it have to be an antenna or can u fool it by just plugging a cable in? I have found a short cable that fits.
All my neighbours have SKY unfortunately

I don’t know if this will work, but it is what I was suggesting. Worth a try.
Have tried clicking OK on the remote with the antenna cable connected but no joy unfortunately. I'm guessing it's just OK you press as I don't remember from when we did the original setup of the box.
Surely it's just looking for something in the antenna IN port and doesn't care if it's an actual antenna?!
That is what I was hoping.
Sorry, I don’t know what else to suggest at this stage.
Thanks for your help. Looks like Iam left with taking it into work Tomorrow
