Hi,
I deleted my BT email from my iPhone 14 SE, then I re-added but now I can't. The process goes like this:
- Tap Settings->Mail->Yahoo!
-Presented with "Sign In" screen, I enter my email address -> Next
- Presented with "Prove your not a Robot", I click the checkbox
- Presented with "Select all cars", I select all cars I see and tap Verify
- And this is the kicker, I'm presented with a next screen "Enter Verification Code. You'll get an email in 'myactual_email_address' if it's linked to your account". Well, it is my account - it's not linked. I do NOT get a verification code to that email address (I've signed in online to check). On that page is "Try sending another way". If I click that I get another screen telling me "Too Many Attempts".
I did some investigation a few days ago and found it could be an incorrect password and a 24 hour timer sets off. I've left it multiple times, way more than 24 hours. I never get the option to my enter my password - I just get this weird loop. And I NEVER get a code.
I signed into my email online through a browser and input a secondary account hoping that might help, but it didn't.
I've done the usual, restarted the phone, signed out of iCloud.
Can anyone shed light this mystery ?

Why are selecting Yahoo?
I thought that's what it was.
The options presented to me on Add Account are
iCloud
Microsoft Exchange
Yahoo!
AOL
Outlook
Other
Is not Yahoo ?

Try that option and then follow through, setting up your BT email.
It hasn't been Yahoo for years, as @Carlusha says, you need to select 'other'
I restored my iPhone 7 onto a new iPhone SE and that gap is quite a number of years.
Got it working. Not sure why I didn't think of that, got stuck in a loop myself.
