I never get logged out either, unless I close my browser. It also 'remembers' my login details.

It will be your browser's auto complete that is "remembering" your log on details.

Re: BT Webmail Feedback v2 (post 16th April release)

That doesn’t explain why I used to be able to stay signed-in for weeks compared to now where it’s many times per day.

Also, the sign-in process is now multi-stage having to enter email address on one page before going to another page to enter password (compared to before where it was all on one page). The BT sign-in page layout is now different.

Even if I haven’t been upgraded yet, did BT change the sign-in process for everyone - even those on the old scheme?

Thanks.

P.S. I could live with the multi-stage sign-in provided it was at the old every ~few weeks frequency.

Re: BT Webmail Feedback v2 (post 16th April release)

@Jetta68

If you read through the forum posts about the "update" you will see that the stay logged on box has been removed for all users. You will also be able to read why that has been done.

You will have been moved to the "new system" but you may not be on the latest version. If you look in the address bar when you log on it will show the version number.

Yes - BT changed to a 2 stage log in - not the same page anymore.

@wendylois - Please, what do you mean by this? Can you delete from your Inbox, or is it the Trash folder "holding on" to your mails?

Re: BT Webmail Feedback v2 (post 16th April release)

I couldn't delete them from my inbox, but seems to have rectified now. Thank you. (It was fine on the BT Mail app on my phone, but not on the web version 3.5.0 on Google Chrome.)
