BT internet email

Since BT recently updated the BT Internet website the logging on process has become painfully slow. If I access my email account via Outlook then  it works fine. Any ideas why?

Re: BT internet email

I used to access my btinternet email using https://home.bt.com/login, but this became slow and sometimes claimed my username or password was incorrect - when it wasn't.
I've since switched to going to www.bt.com and then clicking email and entering my username and password there. This seems to consistently work and is quite quick.

Re: BT internet email

Why don’t you both use an email app on whatever device you’re using?

Re: BT internet email

Using MS Edge on PC. I also use Chrome Browser and CCleaner Browser and there is no issue with either of those

Re: BT internet email

I was asking what email app you tried on what device.

With Edge have you tried clearing the cache?

Re: BT internet email

Yes, cleared the cache this morning and I do so weekly.

Forgive my ignorance but I don't understand your question re app.

Re: BT internet email

On Windows there’s a separate email client/app that is installed by default called Mail or you can install any 3rd party client/app.

Re: BT internet email

'Mail'takes me to Outlook. I access BT internet via BT app which I have used for over 20 years.
