I discovered in July that all emails older than 6 months had been deleted, losing many years of messages. I checked all my settings and changed my passwords and thought that was the end of it.
I've discovered today that once again all emails older than 6 months have been deleted. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to stop it?
What folder were the emails in?
The inbox.
Do you access your email using a browser ( webmail) or using an email client/app?
Do you access it on more than one device and if so what is/are they?
Have you logged onto webmail and checked all the folders including the Spam and Trash folders?
Good morning,
I only access my emails through iPhone email and outlook for iOS.
I’ve checked my Trash folder and it contains 10 emails from feb-October this year. My spam folder contains 52 emails from the last month and nothing before that.
I’ve also got some subfolders that hold emails from between 2013-2017.
Hi @Garak112 Sorry if I have missed it, but did you confirm that the emails have gone from the BT Email website (I.e. taking the iPhone and Outlook out of the equation).

Have you checked that neither are configured to delete mail after 6 months?
