Re: I just sent a message asking for advice and it was deleted as spam

Thanks again for your kind attention to my issues, apologies for the delay in reply.

I appreciate that my browser is Edge but kind of thought BT email as the ISP was some sort of sub browser.  It is I guess just a program (whatever that means to me).

I do in fact always access my email by opening Edge and typing in BT.com and then clicking there the extreme right hand tab "EMail"

Then I am presented with the option drop down menu showing all my previous attempts at typing in my two email addresses and corresponding passwords (the later mistakenly typed in to the username box and "successfully saved"!)

My wife does have her own account on this Windows 11 desktop (not a Microsoft account - just a separate users in Windows 11) but it is just the fact that anyone in the room near the desktop can see these mistakenly typed passwords that bothers me.

So how to get rid of them is the question that I am finding it hard to explain or understand.  It is not the password per se i.e. saved in the password depository it is the password shown on the list in the drop down of the user names.

I will research your suggestion to use my Windows account (in fact I subscribe to Ms365 but only under a trade name so I assume I need to subscribe separately under my personal name as well).

Anyhow thanks for the link which I will study tomorrow (oops today)!
