@DCSwrote:... What happened to advance warning, testing, and quality control ? Another £7.50 please !
Aahhh yes, I remember when MicroSoft use to send me out advanced emails warning me of impending updates, then telling me they were using me for testing, and quality control when they released such disasters like Windows 8.....oh, wait a minute...
If you are not with BT Broadband, you do have to pay for BT Mail
I think there is a big difference between an operating system and a webmail program.

No you don't, Basic Mail is free. You just have to use webmail rather than a clinet/app.

We have had four btinternet.com email addresses in our household for over twenty years. So Basic is not an option
Why, you can still have the 4 free
I noticed the same problem a few days ago. Very annoying. And I'm not aware that I've changed any settings.
Believe me, I had protracted conversations with BT, and the ONLY way to keep my bt email addresses which had been linked to my residential account, and which I had always used as webmail, was to pay for Premium email.
BT - "Just one BT email address. You won’t be able to create new ones"
We create new ones for anonymous email addresses. I am not sure why we shouldn't get the features we have already paid for, and that includes fixing this problem.
Please continue to waste your money, no idea why I tried to help.
