It isn't fixed yet, I thought that it was, but it was a false alarm.
We are still waiting for a cure, the mods have passed it to the
email department, I even got an order number for the complaint,
but no joy.

Update, or maybe I should say Downdate.
This problem has escalated from the original, to much worse!
When I opened my email this morning, images were still blocked,
so I went into settings, to change them, only to find that in my
account, it was set to "Allow all Images except Spam", but still
didn't show any, I changed the setting to allow all, that worked,
I then went back and set it to allow all except spam, only to find
that they were again blocked!
Sad really that this is taking so long.

I've had the same problem - I've cleared the cache, deselected Block images and saved. It's working at the moment but from reading other posts, I 'm not confident how long it will work.
My biggest issue is the sudden change to random formatting in most of my regular email newsletters - words being split across lines is making some of them almost impossible to read
Hello, can I please have help from someone? I've tried online chat but it doen't have an option for email problems and equally I've tried phoning and had the same problem.
Images keep blocking. I have cleared caches & cookies. Turned laptop on and off! Reset settings and it keeps happening.
Typing an email the cursor keeps resetting to the top midsentence.
Formatting of received emails breaks words up and puts the final letters on another line.
I'm using chrome and have never had these problems before.
I just want to speak to someone and there seems no way to do it

@SarahKate2704 All the points you've mentioned are known bugs with the new version of the emails, so it isn't just you. They are supposedly being fixed but no update on when this will be complete.
Thank you Adam. I'd read that other people were having the same, I'd just hoped that there was someone to talk to. It's been going on for ages now and I'm at the end of my tether trying to work......as I'm sure many others are.

There is still no properly working fix to the is problem, this morning
my mail settings were still at Show Images except in Spam, but the
images were still blocked, I chose, show all images and saved that,
then I clicked show images to all except spam and saved that, it is
working, so far.
One time I right-clicked on the image holder that showed, a bit like
the back of an envelope, in the drop-down window, I chose show
image and it did, so maybe that is a clue to try and see if that might
cure the problem.
The people who wrote the programme should be ashamed of giving
us something, faulty to work with, this has been going far too long
now, maybe they should call back a known coding genius to fix it!

I've been having the same issue for months.
Thought it had been fixed but today it's back again.
This really is beyond a joke when a major IT company can't even deliver a basic, reliable email service.
Unfortunately, I think that BT got rid of a lot of staff, too many probably,
when the went with EE, companies lay off the older people first, as they
are sometimes paid a bit more, it happens too often and the ones who
have the solution at their fingertips, are no longer with the company!
Somebody is trying to fix it, sometimes, my email works properly, then
after a few days it goes bad again, the faulty code is scattered around
thousands of servers and it will take a while to get the message around
them all.
