Nightmare adding email account to Apple devices

Thanks. Yes. All v odd. The Apple server now seems to have sorted itself (maybe it defaults to POP if the initial check times out) as now the set up screen recognises the account as IMAP and all is set up automatically fine now.

There's no Apple server involved, it's the app causing the problems.

Hi you now only seen to get the option to add as a pop account as there is no choice at the top of the page. However, if you put in an incorrect password you then get the toggle of imap amd pop and can add the correct password and its then works fine!
