Sent emails bouncing back

I have this exact same error to messages I am trying to send to my brother

The odd thing is they are replies to a common third party

i.e. third party writes to us both. 

Brother gets that email

I reply all and third party gets my email but brothers bounces

very odd

What happens if you send an email only to your brother using his email address directly and not as a reply all?
