Even when I was with BT I asked them to delete my btinternet em address. I continued to get emails to my Apple devices. Now I have left BT all together and I am still receiving the scam emails. I shall complain to ofcom if it doesn't stop.
Why do you keep accessing the address? Just delete the address from your devices.

Are you using a mail client that is still configured to receive mail sent to your old BT address?
That BT address was supposedly cancelled by BT ages ago. The BT em address is not on any of my devices
I wish I knew. I put a review on Trustpilot and the responded to post my issue on here. I keep getting the same response. So not helpful at all.
If you don't use the email address (so aren't logging into it) and it's not configured on your devices, how do you know it's receiving junk/spam?
