Am I correct in saying that the only way to change my email password is by logging into MyBT and doing it from there? (This is an address that I use and haven't gifted to anyone).

If you can access your email account ie you have not forgotten your password, you can log onto the email account then go to settings by clicking on your username at the right hand side. This will open a drop down box with various choices. Go to "Account Info" then "Change Password".
If you have forgotten the password you could use the "Forgot Log in Details" on the logon page.

Re: Change email password?
I know my password so I had a look at my email 'Settings'. No option there to change passwords. I had a look at all the categories and their sub-menus but can't see it. I suspect that they removed this when they went over to 'Secure Authentication'.

Re: Change email password?
I may not have been clear with what I posted. Clicking on your username opens a drop down box with the settings. Click on the setting "Account Info" then "Change Password.
EDIT: I have changed my previous post to give a bit more clarity.
