I'm trying to send an eBay link to someone who also has a BT email address as me but email won't send and is staying in my outbox. I keep getting the following message:
The server response was: We're sorry, but we can't send your email. Either the subject matter, a link, or an attachment potentially containsspam, or phishing or malware. Please check or edit your message and try sending it again. (6-1-3-2) ID (69130E3E009BAB68)
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.
I have also tried sending to this persons other email address (nothing to do with BT) and still won't send for the same reason. Any ideas what I can do to get it to send?
Good afternoon @Karen1.
Welcome back to the BT Community!
Have you had a chance to try this again over the last few days to see if it's still giving the same error?
Also just to be sure, are you putting the Ebay link in the main body of the message, or is it in the subject line?
Peter
on a MacBook there is an upward arrow at the side of safari which says ‘email this page to another email address’ and that is what I used.
The eBay link automatically forms in the body of the email. I did try it again and it wouldn’t send again saying spam, phishing etc
Thanks for explaining @Karen1
Are you able to try copying the link and putting that into the body of the email, rather than using the arrow on the side to see if that works?
Does the same thing happen if you use another browser?
