Hi @VeteranISPUser

Thank you for getting in touch and telling us about this.

Signs of a scam email

  • The email sounds urgent or threatening
  • There are spelling or grammar mistakes
  • They ask for personal details, passwords or bank details

What to do

  • Don't click links, open attachments or reply
  • If its seemingly from BT, forward as an attachment to phishing@bt.com, if not report@phishing.gov.uk
  • Then delete the email
  • Even real-looking emails may have been spoofed
