Morning @scooby66
Thanks for coming back to the community.
Can you access your email account and view emails? Is this message only showing when trying to move messages to the BT Email inbox?
How do you access the email account, webmail, BT Email app or a third party client?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.
Hi @Leanne_T sorry for delay.
Im accessing my email on a MacBook, (so is that Apple mail?) and the message occurred when I was trying to reply to an email from the kennels our dog is going to. I wasn't trying to move it to the BT email inbox.
I can see all my emails etc, this just occurred sending the email to the kennels. I actually used my iPhone to reply which worked. Should also mention...I don't often send emails nowadays so I send a test one to my husband and that worked OK!
Thanks 🙂
Thanks for coming back to me @scooby66
If you're emails working using another device, could you try using a different browser on the MacBook, or if you have the BT Email app please try deleting and re-installing the app and see if this helps 🙂
Let me know how you get on.
Leanne.
The problem was most likely a server "glitch". When there a problem that does not fall into certain parameters the error messages thrown up do not always give a true reflection of what the error was so I would not take it on face value.
Have you had any other issues with your email other than the one to the kennels?
Have you tried sending another email to the kennels to see if the problem is still there?
If everything is now working as expected I would just put it down to an unexplained error that has cleared itself and not waste any more of my life or anybody else's in trying to establish what caused it.
Thanks @Leanne_T
I went to send an email to my sister (whom I have emailed many times before) and the same message popped up.
However, this time I clicked OK on the message box and the email did actually send, so its all good 🙂
Any idea why this box pops up? 🤔
Many thanks
Thanks for trying that @scooby66, I'm pleased that at least the emails are going through.
So this is happening on all emails sent from your MacBook but never happens from your phone? Have you only recently started using the MacBook?
Lesley
Hi @Lesley_W
Thanks. Yes this is only happening on my MacBook and it only started happening after the previous email issue that I had (and that was resolved successfully by using this forum).
Thanks for confirming that @scooby66
If you are using the Apple mail function, can you try it on webmail and see if that make a difference?
