Is it possible to have the Digital Handset Screen permanently lit up and not just when the handset is in use?

just looked through settings and there is nothing under display to keep on permanently

You could go into the Display settings and enable Screen Saver. This will give you a Clock when the phone is not in use.

How do I find Display Settings?
Have scrolled through Menus and nothing for Display Settings.
This is a BT Digital Voice phone

I'm curious why you want to keep the display on all the time, this will drain the battery. Also the screen lights up when the phone rings thus acting as a visual indicator of an incoming call

@Les-Gibson The Screen Saver is in a "dark mode" and the phone still lights up when it rings. I have the Screen Saver on and the battery drain is negligible and get the benefit of having a clock.

Many thanks, I have now found the display settings on my Essential Digital Home Phone. Unfortunately it doesn't allow changing of screen colour or text size

Like to have the display on when phone is on the charger for telling time.

I think the text size can be altered under Accessibility settings .

If the Screen Saver is enabled the phone displays the clock whilst on charge and will light up when it rings.
