BT Phone Problem (Digital Voice) Engaged Tone.

Hi Everyone,

At home we are on Digital Voice and we have 3 BT Phones 3690 models and a DV Adapter.

And every now and then we attempt to make a phone call, we can't often dial out as we hear the "Engaged Tone" I have to fiddle the DV Adapter and press the button on my back on my Hub to reset itself.

Any ideas on what this is and how to prevent this from happening?
