BT smart digital phone lost contacts.

Is it possible to store contacts that are on my BT Smart digital phone so that do not vanish during power cuts or factory resets?  BT support 3 days ago did a factory reset on my Smarthub 2 which resulted in all my contacts being wiped out of the phone because they 'forgot' that I was fully digital.   I would like to be able to store them elsewhere so they may be imported should the situation arise again.  I do not have a BT mobile contract.

Go to 192.168.1.254 and you can export and import the contact list

Many thanks, I think I have found the location but there is nothing to import/export but I'll keep searching thanks.

Re: BT smart digital phone lost contacts.

The factory reset of the SH2 cleared all settings back to default which included removing all your contacts. You will have to re-enter them manually. Once you have re-entered your contacts you can then export them as a backup as @jac_95 said in message #2 above. Remember to export a new backup each time you add or remove contacts.

Re: BT smart digital phone lost contacts.

Many thanks for confirming what I suspected, just a pity that the BT support engineers didn't remember it at the time of the reset.  Again thanks for your help.
