My caller ID display hasn't been working for nearly a month now and have reported it numerous time to BT. Have done all the checks (*234#) ,as requested and results are the same on 3 different phones that I plug into the socket. Also removed the face plate and plugged straight into the socket. Going round in circles as the fault is booked in with Open Reach but it comes back that the line is working. All the advisors tell me the same story that it will be sorted out but STILL waiting! An advisor from Belfast today said as it's a free feature, it's not classed as important. I said that I'm not receiving the full benefit of the land line but he said as the Caller ID is FREE I shouldn't expect it to be included as part of my payment for the landline!! I was not happy and promptly rang off.

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Caller ID. Do you have broadband with us? Have you recently made any changes to your services?
